The KANT | SYSTEM is a wall-mounted shelf made from V2A stainless steel. Several bent steel sheets are visibly connected by wire ropes, forming an open, vertical shelving system.
The construction is deliberately reduced: load-bearing capacity comes from material logic, geometry, and defined load transfer.
Dimensions
- Shelf width: 45 cm
- Shelf depth: 21 cm
- Total height: 100 cm
Material & Construction
- Material: V2A stainless steel
- Upper load-bearing sheet: 2 mm
- Lower shelves: 1 mm
- Manufacturing: precisely bent sheets, visibly mounted
- Surface: ground
Suspension & Mounting
- Suspension: 4 wire ropes, 100 cm each
- Wall mounting:
- fischer DuoPower anchors 8 × 40
- Lag screws
- Cap nuts
Weight
Weight: approx. 4.9 kg
Load capacity
Maximum recommended load: 20 kg total
(evenly distributed across all shelves)
Installation notes
Install only on load-bearing masonry (e.g. concrete, solid brick). Not suitable for drywall or lightweight partition walls. Mounting height and shelf spacing are freely adjustable.
Tools
- Drill with an 8 mm bit suitable for your wall
- Hammer
- Cordless screwdriver with Torx bit
- Wrench for the cap nuts
- Allen key for the shelves
- Gloves (recommended, to avoid fingerprints)
The stronger upper sheet carries the main load, while the sheets below are designed to be functional and material-efficient.
Surface
Fingerprints and signs of use are typical of V2A stainless steel and can be removed by cleaning.
Usage
Suitable for kitchen, bathroom, office, or living areas for books, everyday items, and light objects.
Liability
No liability is assumed for damage caused by improper installation, unsuitable wall surfaces, overloading, uneven load distribution, or structural modifications to the product.![]()
