kant grew out of a specific wish: a bookshelf that is functional, clearly constructed and fits naturally into the room.
We are four architecture students with a passion for interiors and precise details. We design shelving systems in stainless steel, reduced to folded sheet metal and visible connecting elements — produced in small series in Wangen im Allgäu, Germany.

KANT | MODULAR is a modular shelving system that can be individually configured and expanded, rearranged or reconfigured at any time.
KANT | SYSTEM, KANT | MODULAR and KANT | ELEMENT are made from high-quality V2A stainless steel. The individual, folded shelves are visibly guided by steel cables.
Yes. With KANT | MODULAR, the individual elements can be combined according to your needs and assembled into a custom configuration.
Yes. All products are designed for self-assembly. A detailed assembly guide is included with your delivery.
The system is suitable for solid walls such as concrete and brick walls. It is not suitable for drywall or lightweight partition walls.
Yes. The required mounting hardware is included, so the shelf can be installed right away.
You only need a drill with a bit suitable for your wall. The mounting hardware and the required screwdriver bit are already included.
We deliver to Austria, Germany and many other EU countries. Shipping costs €10 within Austria and Germany and €15 to all other EU countries we serve; orders of €200 or more ship free. Delivery to other countries is available on request.
